Size of space: 217 sq.ft
Type: Modern Architectural
Functionality
There’s plenty for the techy chef to get excited about with two Siemens ovens, a coffee machine, steam oven and microwave forming a neat symmetry with the Fisher and Paykel fridge-freezer. A down-draft extractor fan is neatly tucked away behind the wide induction hob, while pull-up sockets avoid extra clutter on the walls.
Thoughtful Details
The goal was to create a true cook’s kitchen that could also be the cornerstone of parties–a fun-loving kitchen. So from the fridge-freezer and ovens, to the hob, sink and prep areas, everything is geared for culinary convenience. Meanwhile, details such as the pink neon sign and long island sink that switches from herb garden to champagne cooler, all invite a smile.
Materials
Mirrored brass panelling makes a dramatic statement, adding an extra dimension of space and intrigue through striking reflections, and neatly complemented by bespoke handles and taps. The sink is powder-coated to match the Corian work-surface, while an oak worktop on the island adds softness to the seating area.
