Abundant light levels allow for the use of dark tones across the cabinets. The addition of half-glazed units and open shelves maintain a feeling of space. Decorative tiles and brushed brass splashback work with the oak flooring to punctuate the monochromatic scheme and inject warmth. For added opulence, the worktop has been mitre edged to create the illusion of a thicker slab. This custom look emphasises the worktop’s marble-like material while reinforcing the room’s classical characteristics. The industrial accent of the stainless steel range delicately interrupts these period features resulting in a modern kitchen that sits with ease at the heart of this Georgian villa.

Materials

Bespoke shaker cabinets, with walnut interiors, are finished with Little Greene Paint Company’s Lamp Black and Armac Martin’s burnished brass knobs. The customised Dekton Aura worktop compliments the hand aged, wax finished, brushed brass splashback. An integrated Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer and Siemens appliances are joined by a Quooker boiling water tap and Wolf Dual Fuel Range to complete this exceptional culinary toolkit.
