Celebrating 30 Years of Bath Kitchen Company
2020 marks 30 years of business for Bath Kitchen Company. Throughout our 30 years of business we have faced many challenges, as all companies should; but the current circumstances certainly mark the most unusual times we have celebrated an anniversary in.
During our 3 decades, we’ve helped create kitchens that delight, impress and wow our customers (their words, not ours), with a focus on combining our customer’s ambitions for their space with our practical expertise to craft kitchens, striking the right balance between aesthetics and functionality.
In our latest blog post, we take a look back at the history of the company and what sets us apart, from 1990 through to present day and everything in between.
Our History
Established in 1990, Bath Kitchen Company came at a time where kitchen companies were caught in a price race to the bottom, resulting in the adoption of low-quality materials, unpersonal customer service, and bulk factory produced units.
We set out with a different goal in mind, to provide high quality, bespoke kitchens that were more than just another room in the house; kitchens that oozed personality and became the talking point of any home.
Great People
As an independent family business, we have always cared deeply about the people we employ. The owner James Horsfall learnt about kitchens the old-fashioned way, coming straight out of school to work under his father as an apprentice.
Over the years, we have developed relationships with suppliers and contractors including carpenters, electricians, plumbers and fitters, handpicking them based on shared ambition and expertise; many of which we have worked alongside since the very beginning.
A Commitment to High Quality Materials
We are committed to using the highest quality materials when creating our kitchens, investing in appliances, brands and materials that we feel share our passion for high quality spaces. A commitment to high quality materials is something we believe everyone should look for when choosing a kitchen designer.
As part of this commitment, unlike high street kitchen companies, we are not tied to using any particular appliance or brand for commercial reasons and never will be.
From the fundamentals such as worktops and cabinets, through to the tiniest details; every element is meticulously planned and thoughtfully considered to ensure that every aspect of the space has purpose and place.
Loved by Our Customers
Over the years, we have built up strong relationships with customers which sees them coming back to us time and time again when they need a redesign or brand new kitchen; we value these relationships greatly and nurture them as such.
Many of the kitchens we design are for friends or family members of previous customers, who have been recommended to us or simply fallen in love with a space we’ve created.
